The Accounting and Finance Laboratory (LAK) is a unit under the auspices of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, which has duties, principles, and functions supporting the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The Accounting and Finance Laboratory will carry out activities in the form of practicum, training, and data services.

History 

The Accounting Laboratory of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya, was formed in 1985 to educate students to practice accounting for service and trade companies. Over time, the agency added accounting practices to the manufacturing industry. As digital technology developed through the years, manual methods have slowly diminished, and many accounting software has been made and implemented.

Function

1. Helping the head of the Laboratory to realize the Tri Dharma of Higher Education: Education, Research, and Community Service.

2. Building a Literacy and Research Climate among Faculty of Administrative Sciences students.

3. Application of scientific theory, research, and data management that is useful for increasing abilities in understanding Accounting and Finance.
