The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) held an event "Departure of Period X Graduates of 2014/2015 Academic Year", Saturday (8/8). The event which was held after the UB graduation procession which took place in the Hall of Building A Floor 4 of FIA UB was attended by all graduates from FIA UB along with the invitees consisting of faculty leaders, heads of departments, heads of study programs, and parents of graduates.
Assistant Dean III Dr. Sri Mangesti Rahayu, MS reported that out of 86 graduates in this period, 32 of them received the title "With Praise". They each consisted of 10 graduates of the Bachelor of Public Administration Study Program, 12 graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration Study Program, 3 graduates of the Bachelor of Taxation Study Program, and 7 graduates of the Bachelor of Library Science Study Program.
Graduates with the highest GPA were Adinda Putri Ramadhany, daughter of Mr. Ir. Bambang Rudhyanto (Mojokerto), from Business Administration S1 Study Program with GPA 3.82. Meanwhile, the best graduate of the Bachelor of Public Administration Study Program is Putri Nurisya Habibah (GPA 3.79), the best graduate of the Bachelor of Taxation Study Program is Maulana Prahaji (GPA 3.80), and the best graduate of the Bachelor of Library Science Study Program is Lucky Dewi Pamungkas (GPA 3 , 78).
Meanwhile, the Dean Prof. Dr. In his speech, Bambang Supriyono conveyed several messages to the graduates to always believe in the quality of their competence. According to the Dean, FIA UB is one of the most respected faculties in Indonesia. Several accreditations and other forms of recognition from various national and international organizations are proof of this. "We cooperate with many universities at home and abroad, for example with Harvard and Stanford University for holding the International Business Model Competition. We are also partnered with GIZ from Germany for cooperation in administration and public services. It is fitting for you as a graduate of FIA UB to be confident about your alma mater campus," said the Dean. (ALA/FIA)
