Sofyan Agus Saputra, Best FIA UB Graduate at the Release of Period IX Graduates 2014/2015

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Brawijaya University (FIA UB) held the "Graduates Release for Period IX 2014/2015 Academic Year", Saturday (13/6). The event, which was held after the Brawijaya University graduation procession which took place in the Hall of Building A, 4th Floor, FIA UB, was attended by all graduates from FIA UB along with invitees consisting of faculty leaders, department heads, study program heads, and parents of graduates.

Assistant Dean I Dr. MR Khairul Muluk reported that the number of graduates from FIA UB in this period was 91 people, with details of 1 person from the Secretarial Diploma Program, 39 people from the Bachelor of Public Administration Program, 30 people from the Bachelor of Business Administration Program, 9 people from the Undergraduate Program Taxation, 6 people from the Public Administration Master's Program, 3 people from the Business Administration Master's Program, and 3 people from the Administrative Science Doctoral Program. Among the 91 graduates, 24 people graduated with the title "With Commendations", 65 people with "Very Satisfactory", and 2 people with "Satisfactory". The best graduate was Sofyan Agus Saputra, S.AP, son of Mr. Hariyanto (Blitar), with a GPA of 3.85.

Meanwhile, Dean Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono in his speech conveyed several messages to the graduates so that they can achieve success in the future. According to him, great people in the past or present have never been free from hard work, smart work and the prayers of their parents. “Parents' prayers are the most important. "While they are still alive, pray for them and later they will also pray for success for all of you," he said.

At this graduation ceremony, the event was enlivened by the Bhayangkari Dance performance performed by five students who are members of SSM FIA UB. Their performance was accompanied by live music performed by FIA Raras Mekar Arum, a gamelan group consisting of lecturers, education staff and students. (ALA/FIA)
