In order to carry out the elements of Research in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawiajay (FIA UB) is holding a "Research Proposal Selection" which will be funded from DIPA BLU FIA UB in 2017. Activities carried out by the Research and Community Service Agency (BPPM) The UB FIA took place on Friday (14/7) and took place at the UB Guest House. In this activity, as many as 16 research proposals underwent due diligence to obtain research funding. The sixteen proposals each consist of 2 proposals for novice lecturer research schemes, 5 proposals for accelerated professor schemes, and 9 proposals for superior research schemes.
Opening the selection process, the Dean of FIA UB Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono MS emphasized the learning process from this proposal selection process. He hopes that in the future the lecturers at FIA UB will continue to improve the quality of their research activities. "With the quality improvement, I hope there will be an increase in scientific publications in national and international journals," said the Dean.
Meanwhile, the Head of BPPM FIA UB Dr. Mohammad Nuh MSi explained that there were two stages that must be passed by the participants. Namely stages Desk Evaluation and Proposal Presentation. According to Nuh, to improve the quality of the proposals, his party appointed lecturers from other faculties to be involved in the two stages so that the objectivity side of the assessment would be better. "For stages Desk Evaluation we asked Prof. Munawar from FEB to assess the feasibility of the participants' proposals. While at the proposal presentation stage, we invited Prof. Gugus Irianto PhD also from FEB as one of the assessors," said Nuh.
