FIA UB Bachelor of Business Administration Study Program (PSIAB) has officially received an “A” accreditation rating from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT). In a letter sent to PSIAB, BAN PT stated that the assessment of the accreditation form had reached a high score, namely 368. Thus, BAN PT considered that there was no need for field visits.
This is the success of PSIAB in obtaining an “A” rating from BAN PT. Previously, in the 2009-2014 period, PSIAB also received an “A” award from BAN PT. Responding to this achievement, the Head of PSIAB Dr. Wilopo, M.AB expressed his gratitude by interpreting this achievement as the success of PSIAB in organizing a quality education process. Going forward, Wilopo intends to bring PSIAB into the ranks of the top four best business schools in Indonesia in the next four years. "We will use this accreditation value as a starting point to build an education system that goes beyond the accreditation standards themselves and to achieve higher goals," said Wilopo.
PSIAB is one of the two oldest study programs at FIA UB. Several collaborative initiatives are being made with universities in the United States and Australia. One of them is the cooperation in organizing the 2016 ASEAN-level International Business Model Competition in collaboration with Stanford, Harvard, and Brigham Young University. (ALA/FIA)
