Election of FIA UB Senate Members for the 2016-2020 period

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) held an election for members of the Faculty Senate from lecturer representatives for the 2016-2020 service period, Wednesday (20/1). There were 17 candidates running for this election, 6 of them to represent the Business Administration Department and the remaining 11 to represent the Public Administration Department. Of that number, five people from each department will sit in the Faculty Senate chair along with members of the dean, professors, and heads of departments.

Each department holds elections at the same time but in different places. The election for the senate for the Business Administration Department was held in the Hall of Building A, 4th Floor, while for the Public Administration Department, it was held in the Meeting Room, Building B, 2nd Floor. Both events were declared to have met the quorum, namely the presence of two-thirds of the lecturers in each department, at 08.30 WIB. The event began with the reading of the election rules by the heads of each department. The voting process was closed at 11.00 WIB and continued with vote counting at 12.00 WIB.

From the results of voting in each department, the following are the names of the elected members of the Faculty Senate from representatives of the Department of Business Administration:

  1. Dr. Kusdi, DEA (16 votes)
  2. Dr. Srikandi Kumadji, MS. (14 votes)
  3. Dr. Kadarisman Hidayat, MS. (13 votes)
  4. Dr. Wilopo, M.AB. (10 votes)
  5. Dr. Hamidah Nayati Utami, M.Sc. (10 votes)

Meanwhile, the names of the elected members of the Faculty Senate from representatives of the Department of Public Administration are:

  1. Dr. Endah Setyowati, MS. (9 votes)
  2. Dr. Bambang Santoso Haryono, MS. (8 votes)
  3. Dr. Hermawan, M.Sc. (7 votes)
  4. Dr. Irwan Noor, MA (7 votes)
  5. Mohammad Nuh, D.pol.sc (7 votes)
