The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) sends off its extended family members who wish to perform the pilgrimage through an event "Departure of the Pilgrimage Candidates for the Faculty of Administrative Sciences", Tuesday (25/8). The Dean Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono, MS that there are four people who will go on pilgrimage, namely Yusri Abdillah, Ph.D and his wife, Drs. Minto Hadi, M.Si., and Faisal Riza, M.AB. Three people will depart on September 8 from the Sukolilo Hajj Dormitory in Surabaya, while Faisal Riza will depart from Taiwan, the country where he is studying for his Doctoral degree. To the four of them, the Dean prayed for the smooth running of the worship process while in the forbidden land. "On behalf of the big family of FIA UB, I wish you a happy pilgrimage. Hopefully all the worship processes will go smoothly and when we return later we can make a mabrur pilgrimage," said the Dean.
Meanwhile, the release event was also filled with hajj tausiyah by Awis Ahmad Wisuno. Ustad who once served as the Head of the Office of the Malang Department of Religion conveyed three messages so that Allah SWT would accept his fourth pilgrimage. "First, don't go on pilgrimage for purposes other than fulfilling your obligations, for example because you intend to run as a candidate for regional head so that the people's voice will be heard more. Second, make sure the source of funds to go on a halal pilgrimage. And third, carry out the procedures for the pilgrimage correctly according to the guidelines," Awis said.
At the end of the event, the leadership of FIA UB through the Assistant Dean II Drs. Heru Susilo, MA handed over Hajj souvenirs to the two prospective pilgrims who had the opportunity to attend. (ALA/FIA)
