Lumpia KriukMuhammad Ferryal Ramadhan, a student of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) will represent UB in the Mandiri Young Entrepreneur Expo event. This activity was held from Wednesday to Sunday (15-19/1) at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
His Lumpia Kriuk business has passed the East Java regional selection and will compete at the national level in the catering category for student groups.
Lumpia Kriuk, according to Ferryal, has a specialty in flavors and without preservatives. "Lumpia Kriuk has three flavors, Chicken Mushroom, Sweet Corn and Chicken Bhin, all without preservatives," said the student of the Tourism Business Department.
The business, which started as a culinary hobby, has now reached five outlets in Malang City. "Currently Lumpia Kriuk can be purchased at Pasar Besar, Blimbing, Watugong, Adi Sucipto, Sukun and Sigura-Gura areas," he said. Not only that, Ferryal also wants to be an entrepreneur. "Apart from my culinary hobby, I also want to become an entrepreneur and create jobs," he added.
Ferryal explained that to take part in the expo, he had prepared three thousand spring rolls. “This is my first time participating in an activity like this. For preparation, I was guided by a mentor from the Independent Young Entrepreneur, he is also a culinary entrepreneur, and the trophy will be handed over by the president," he said. In the future, Ferryal intends to open a new outlet in Surabaya and add more flavors. "Hopefully it will go smoothly, the important thing is tenacity, patience and mother's prayers," he concluded.
