Espriex 2013 “Creative Business For Shaping The Future of ASEAN”

In the context of the 50th Anniversary of Brawijaya, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, the Department of Business Administration held a National Seminar and Business Model Competition ASEAN National and Regional level. This activity started in October 2012.

This event is the first in Indonesia and will also be an annual event for the FIA. This event is shaded by an event title, namely espriex. This year's Espriex carries the theme “Creative Business For Shaping The Future of ASEAN”.

Which consists of two events namely Seminar and Business Model Competition. It is hoped that this seminar will provide an overview of the conditions and developments of the National and ASEAN economies in relation to the current contribution of the creative industries within them. While activities Business Model Competition It is hoped that undergraduate and postgraduate students at the ASEAN national and regional levels can conceptualize a new business using the method business models. The culmination of this activity is the seminar and event business model competition awarding.

ESPRIEX events (Entrepreneurial Spirit) This program consists of two (2) types of activities that we will carry out alternately, namely: (1) 2013 International & National Business Model Competition, for the category of national participants (undergraduate and master level students), and the ASEAN regional category (ASEAN regional undergraduate and postgraduate student levels). (2) National Seminar on “Creative Business For Shaping The Future of ASEAN”.

 

FIRST EVENTS

2013 INTERNATIONAL & NATIONAL BUSINESS MODEL COMPETITION

This competition is divided into 2 (two) types of submission categories,

that is:

  • Business Model Competition for International Category, with a total of 73 participants, this category is intended for all students who are currently pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate education in universities throughout ASEAN with the provisions that the submission of the business model is for an international business scale.
  • Business Model Competition for National Category, with 129 participants.  This category is intended for all students who are currently pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate education in higher education (PTN and PTS) within the country (Indonesia) with the provision that the submission of the business model is for a national business scale.

SECOND EVENTS

NATIONAL SEMINAR “CREATIVE BUSINESS FOR SHAPING THE FUTURE OF ASEAN”

The objectives of this National Seminar include:

  1. Knowing the role of MSMEs in the creative business industry in Indonesia;
  2. Know the opportunities for the creative business industry as a pillar of the national economy;
  3. Knowing the process of utilizing ideas and intellectual property for MSMEs as a basis for entering the creative business industry;
  4. Knowing the strategies carried out by creative business people to prevent piracy which has the potential to kill innovation;
  5. Knowing the steps that have been taken by the government to support the process of utilizing ideas and intellectual property for MSMEs as a basis for entering the creative business industry.

BUSINESS CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES CREATIVE IN ASEAN

  • Know the opportunities faced by business creatives in the ASEAN region;
  • Know the challenges faced by business creatives in the ASEAN region;
  • Knowing the steps and policies that have been taken by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries to deal with opportunities and obstacles to the creative business industry in Indonesia.

 

2. Dahlan Iskan

PROSPECTS AND ROLE OF THE INDONESIAN CREATIVE BUSINESS INDUSTRY IN ASEAN

  • Knowing the conditions and prospects of the creative business industry in Indonesia compared to other countries in the ASEAN region;
  • Knowing the involvement of MSMEs in the creative business industry in Indonesia;
  • Know the steps and policies that have been taken by the Government to improve entrepreneurship in its efforts to face the opportunities and obstacles of the creative business industry in Indonesia.

  • Knowing the role of innovation in supporting MSMEs in the creative business industry;

  • Knowing solutions to increase the ability to innovate SMEs in the creative business industry;
  • Knowing the process of utilizing ideas and intellectual property for MSMEs as a basis for innovation;
  • Knowing the strategies carried out by SMEs in the creative business industry to succeed in innovating.

 

2. Muhammad Fadel

THE ROLE OF MSMEs IN THE CREATIVE BUSINESS INDUSTRY TO EMPOWER LOCAL ECONOMIC RESOURCES

  • Knowing the role of MSMEs in the creative business industry to support local economic development in Indonesia;
  • Know the application and strategy for local economic development as an effort to strengthen the pillars of the national economy;
  • Know the steps that have been taken by the government to support local economic development based on the MSME creative business industry;
