About The Faculty of Administrative Sciences

The 15 September 1960 formation of the Faculty of Business Administration was a milestone in the establishment of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences . The Faculty of Business Administration was renamed the Faculty of Administration and Trade Affairs on September 30, 1962. In 1982, it was renamed the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, where it has remained since.

Currently, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences oversees two departments, namely the Department of Public Administration and the Department of Business Administration, and eleven study programs.

  1. Business Administration, Public Administration, Education Administration, Taxation, Library Science, and Tourism are undergraduate programs.
  2. Master's Degree Programs in Business Administration, Public Administration, and Higher Education Administration.
  3. Doctoral Program in Administration and Administration (PSDKU Jakarta).

To expedite lecture activities, FIA UB has 167 teaching staff, 11 professors, and 79 educational staff.

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences has accomplished numerous noteworthy feats, including the International Accreditation of the Business Administration Study Program by the Asian Association of Schools of International Business (AASBI). In addition, during the 2019 International 6th Singapore International Choral Festival, the FIA UB choir team received first place in the mixed choir category and second place in the Folklore category.

In addition, FIA was awarded a gold prize in the online 2020 International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF) hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Faculty of Administrative Sciences provides 7 Laboratories, 7 Study Centers, and 2 UPTs to support lecture activities and accelerate the teaching and learning process (Technical Service Units). In addition, all classrooms and seminar rooms feature LCD projectors, Air Conditioning (AC). Also, there is a prayer room, a big parking lot, and complimentary wireless internet access (Wi-Fi).
