On September 5 2019, the Business Administration Study Program held a guest lecture "DIGITAL BUSINESS: OPPORTUNITY AND CHALLENGES”. This event is a form of follow-up to the collaboration between Brawijaya University and Grab Technology Indonesia. The event which was held in the Hall of the 4th floor of Building A of FIA UB was attended by Deputy Main Director of Universitas Brawijaya Non-Academic Enterprises (BUNA UB) M. Kholid Mawardi, S.Sos., M.AB; Dean of FIA UB Prof. Bambang Supriyono, MS; Vice President Strategic Collaborations PT Grab Technology Indonesia Uun Ainurrofiq and the Grab East Java team, as well as FIA UB lecturers.
Apart from guest lectures, the collaboration was also followed up by accepting ten selected students from UB's selection results with Grab for internships at the East Java Grab office. This is done so that students have the opportunity to recognize business processes in technology-based institutions. Apprentice students will get rewards which is equivalent to the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR). (DPS/PSIK)
