FREE COMPETITION WITH A PRIZE OF 75 MILLION RUPIAH
After successfully holding the 2013 Business Model Competition, the FIA UB Business Administration Department is again presenting a prestigious competition that will challenge your creativity and analytical skills, namely the 2014 Business Model Competition (BMC).
This competition will challenge you to design a business model using a tool that is currently popular in the business world, namely the Business Model Canvas. In contrast to a Business Plan which only contains business plans whose success has not been proven, the Business Model Canvas requires you to analyze consumer problems, propose a product to overcome these problems, and test it in the field.
So, at BMC 2014 we invite you, students, to present the results of your findings. The final product that we want to see is a business idea that has been tested (validated) for its usefulness for consumers, so we can be sure that if the product is released on the market it will immediately generate large profits. And that's what investors like. They want a business model, not just a business plan.
For this year's edition, BMC 2014 provides cash prizes in larger amounts than last year, namely a total of USD 6,500 or around Rp. 75 million. The good news is: it doesn't cost you a penny to enter this competition!
