FIA UB Wins ICSB Presidential Awards 2016 in the SME Development Sector

Brawijaya University gets a gift ICSB Presidential Awards 2016 category Researcher and Academician from the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Indonesia in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Tuesday (25/10). This award was obtained because of UB's real contribution in the development of small and medium enterprises (UKM) in Indonesia, especially in East Java. The award was given at the 2016 Indonesian UKM Gebyar event on TVRI East Java. The award for UB was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB), Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono, MS who represents UB Rector. FIA UB was chosen to represent UB because in recent years it has been quite focused on researching and studying the development of UKM in East Java through the UKM Research and Development Group (K2PU) chaired by Dr. Kusdi Rahardjo, DEA. In addition, FIA UB also has an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Laboratory which participates in the development of SMEs through approaches business models which is the main focus of learning.
