It was explained that the implementation of the technical interoperability model was aimed at developing integrated services for digital library users in such a way. In this way, users can utilize information resources provided by various systems from various institutions or individuals.

Hendrawan added that in building and determining a technical interoperability model, it should be based on the needs of users, librarians and institutional policies. From the results of his research, Hendrawan found that the challenges that many currently face revolve around the practice of implementing a number of standards, cooperation and policies in strategic planning related to technological growth and human development regarding changes in information technology itself.

Hendrawan's presentation received an interesting response and appreciation from the conference participants who came from both academics, researchers and practitioners in the realm of Library and Information Science who attended.
