Administratio Choir (AC) made another achievement at the international level. Unmitigated, the student choir group of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) bought up two titles in the competition entitled "International Federation of Choral Music: World Choral Expo 2015”. In the event that was held in Macau, the AC team won 1st place in the category Mixed Adult Choir and 2nd Place for the category Mixed Youth Choir.
In this world-class choir competition, the AC team presented several of their top compositions, including Verlorene Jugend, Kyrie Eleison, and Cantate Domino. With the capital of hard training, the AC team managed to win the tough competition with 60 other international participating teams, including from China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
General Chair of AC Elyzabeth Mauli said that her struggle with 39 other team members to Macau was not an easy journey. He said that the entire team had to spend the night at Macau airport because they could only enter the hotel the next day. Elyzabeth also said that one of the obstacles they faced while in Macau was language because almost all of the committee members could only speak Mandarin. “Once we had to get angry with local residents because we had to practice in the city park. It can't be helped, we don't have a representative place to practice while there," he said.
