As part of efforts to increase the quantity of publications in international journals, Master of Business Administration Program, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) held "International Journal Writing Training", Monday (30/11) and Tuesday (1/12). Three experienced speakers in the field of journal publication had the opportunity to attend the event, each Prof. Dr. Ir. Noer Azam Akhsani, MS (Bogor Agricultural Institute), Dr. Rachma Fitriati, M.Si (University of Indonesia), and Dra. Inayati, M.Si (Editor of UI Business and Bureaucracy Journal). As many as 40 people consisting of FIA UB lecturers and postgraduate level students also attended the activity.
In his presentation, Dra. Inayati, M.Si shared many tips about publishing articles in the journals she manages. According to Inayati, even though the Business and Bureaucracy Journal (JBB) he leads has only just been accredited nationally, the editors who are members of journal management are not only from Indonesia but also academics from other countries, such as South Korea, Germany, and Malaysia. Inayati also said that even though it is at the national level, her journal also accepts manuscripts in English. "Make sure the English of your article is good, because it could be that articles with good content are failed to be understood by the reviewers just because the language is difficult to understand," said the FIA UI lecturer.
