ACCEPT REGISTRATION

ACCELERATION PROGRAM STUDENTS (FAST TRACK)

BRAWIJAYA UNIVERSITY

ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022

I. PURPOSE:

1. Facilitating undergraduate students who excel in academics, in the field of English and have high motivation to continue in the Masters Program
2. Increase the number of excellent students in the Masters Program and
3. Increasing scientific publications in UB.

II. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. The lowest accreditation for undergraduate study programs and master study programs is B;
2. Program Student Fast-Track get NIM Masters Program after graduation from the Undergraduate Program; And
3. Undergraduate students who are accepted by the Program Fast-Track in semester VII have taken semester I Masters Program courses (one)

III. STUDY LOAD:

1. Program student study load Fast-Track at least 144 (one hundred forty four) credits for undergraduate programs and at least 36 (thirty six) credits for Masters Programs.
2. Program student study load Fast-Track for semester 1 (one) and semester 2 (two) in the master program at least 14 (fourteen) credits.

IV. ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Students enrolling in the Program Fast-Track are students who meet the following requirements:

1. students have Active Student Status at UB;
2. currently taking semester VI (six) and have passed at least 110 (one hundred and ten) credits at the end of semester V (five) with a GPA of:
3. more than or equal to 3.50; or
4. the lowest is equal to 3.25 with the lowest course grade B (following Eligible status at SIAM);
5. have the lowest TOEFL score or equal to 450 (if any);
6. get recommendations from lecturers with doctoral degrees with the lowest academic position as lector; And
7. obtain approval and ability to finance education from parents/guardians and/or other parties.

V. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

1. Students who meet the requirements download and fill out the form from the SIAM Application for each student's account. Filling is done in the Application menu then selecting Registration FastTrack.
2. Students upload the required forms:
3. KHS semesters 1 – 5 made 1 (one) PDF file;
4. TOEFL (if you already have);
5. Lecturer recommendation letter according to the format provided;
6. Letter of financial support from parents according to format;
7. Registration student statement letter as format;
8. The Fast-Track Program Registration Menu at SIAM will be active according to the time of registration.
9. The selection of the Masters Study Program can be in the same field or not according to the recommendations and specific requirements for the Masters Study Program to be taken.

VI. REGISTRATION TIME:

• Registration time starts June 2 – July 10 2021

VII. FAST-TRACK PROGRAM STUDY FEES:

• In accordance with Pertor No. 8 of 2020 Concerning Tuition Fees with Provisions In semesters 1 and 2 when students are taking their Masters, they get a 50% discount from the supposed rate. New semester 3 and 4 program financing Fast-Track back to normal costs. (Or certain policies taken by the Faculty).

VIII. ADMISSION SELECTION:

1. Selection is carried out by considering all potential program participants Fast-Track recorded in the UB academic database.
2. Program Selection Fast-Track held in each faculty in UB according to a predetermined schedule.
3. The selection team was formed based on the Dean's Decree.
4. The selection team includes at least: Dean, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Head of the Undergraduate Study Program and Head of the Master's Study Program intended in the Program Fast-Track.
5. Assessment of potential program participants Fast-Track based on the level of fulfillment of the requirements referred to in the student admission requirements.

IX. ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE:

1. Students who are accepted into the Program Fast-Track announced at the end of semester 6 (six).
2. Students who are accepted into the Program Fast-Track must fill in KRS for Undergraduate Programs and KRS for Masters Programs with the approval of the Academic Advisor lecturer.
3. Announcement of acceptance will be submitted on the Website: selma.ub.ac.id

X. DOWNLOAD FORM:

1. Lecturer recommendation letter form;
2. Form letter of financial support from parents;
3. Student registration statement form.
