Having studied at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) since 2010, now Megananda officially holds a Doctorate degree in Administrative Sciences with a specialization in Business Administration after defending her dissertation openly in front of the Board of Examiners. Writing his dissertation received intensive guidance from Prof. Dr. Omar Nimran, Prof. Dr. Suhadak, and Dr. Kusdi Raharjo. While the Board of Examiners consists of Prof. Dr. Endang Siti Astuti, Dr. Heroine Kumaji, Dr. Hamidah Nayati Utami, Prof. Dr. Syafi'i Idrus, Prof. Dr. Martani Huseini, and Prof. Christiantius Dwiatmadja.
Megananda raised the topic of the influence of knowledge leadership (knowledge leadership) on organizational culture, individual learning, and collective learning and their implications for individual creativity. The object of his research is 14 BUMN engaged in the plantation sector throughout Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to utilize knowledge assets as a source of competitive advantage for companies in facing increasingly fierce competition.
By inviting 245 middle managers as research samples, and using the GSCA approach (Generalized Structured Component Analysis) in processing the data, Megananda concluded that knowledge leadership has a significant effect on organizational culture and collective learning. That is, the application of knowledge leadership through learning orientation, creating a learning climate, supporting learning, and providing role models will support the emergence of organizational cultural values and practices that are in line with learning and knowledge creation. In addition, he also concluded that individual learning cannot be imposed directly by organizational leaders, but must be through organizational cultural values and practices that support individual action to start learning.
