FIA Fun Day 2024, Environmental Concern is Necessary

Malang, November 03, 2024. The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Brawijaya University (FIA UB) has held the FIA Fun Day 2024 activity together with the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences (IKAFIA) of Brawijaya University (UB). The activity lasted for 2 (two) days, on November 02-03, 2024. The theme carried was "Malang Guyub Is Urup“. This activity was carried out involving alumni, students and the surrounding community.

The activities carried out include a National Seminar with an environmental theme, a mini Job Fair and a National Conference. The National Seminar held in the Hall of Building A, 4th Floor, FIA UB, aims to build public awareness, especially regarding waste. In accordance with what has been conveyed by the Head of FIA Alumni, Dida Sarkam, that waste is an important thing today, because many people are less concerned with the existence of waste. Meanwhile, according to the Dean of FIA, Prof. Drs. Andy Fefta Wijaya, M.Sc., Ph.D, this alumni activity is very useful because it takes about waste and the environment, because in 2045, there is a decarbonization target.

The next activity was the peak activity, namely FIA Fun Walk & Charity, which contained entertainment and the presence of old-school culinary in the form of soto Cak Yoyok and dumplings, as a supporter of the atmosphere during college. The participants were very enthusiastic and excited in participating in the activity, supported again by the presence of guest star Fakedopp who further enlivened the event.

So far, there have been many social and environmental activities that have been carried out, in the form of charity for victims of the NTB earthquake, victims of the eruption of Mount Semeru, and others. With the many activities that have been carried out by the FIA UB Alumni Association, it is hoped that in the future it can continue to carry out increasingly beneficial social and environmental activities.
