FEELING BURN OUT? STOP SCROLLING FOR A MINUTE

Yesterday, 12 June 2023 was set to be the first day of UAS at FIA UB. However, UAS take home And offline came over and over again without giving mercy, right MABIS?

Do you feel physically tired all the time, dizzy so that your head feels hot, and have there been changes in your appetite and sleep patterns? 

If you feel emotionally demoralized and motivated, filled with negative emotions and thoughts, and always feel like you're never enough? 

Finally, in terms of attitude, have you withdrawn from the social environment, not carried out your duties or responsibilities, and been procrastinating on work yet? 

If so, that's a sign you're experiencing it burnout. Burnout is a state in which oneself is emotionally, physically and mentally exhausted caused by excessive and prolonged stress.

Tip 1: Be social

If there is a problem can be told to parents, family, friends, friends, to professional. Alternatively, you can limit contact with people who we think are "negative" or can be looking for new environment and friends. You can follow the community to the organization. 

 

Tip 2: Find a New Perspective on the Things That Make MABIS Burnout

By looking at other points of view, you can help yourself reduce burn out. Like looking value from studying UAS. Apart from that, take time to rest first, don't forget to take time to do things you like, such as doing hobbies. Don't forget to focus on things that make you happy too, OK?

 

Tip 3: Re-evaluate Priorities

MABIS can use this opportunity to rest, by getting enough sleep and limiting yourself from playing gadgets, and find out what really makes MABIS happy. 

 

Tip 4: Exercise

Simply setting aside 30 minutes a day to exercise can be one of the most important remedies for coping burnout. You can do jogging in the boarding area and or home workout that can be done at the boarding house.

 

Tip 5: Eat less food and change habits

To reduce burnout, we need 

  1. Reducing sugar intake 
  2. Reducing intake of high-calorie carbohydrates
  3. Reducing foods that can affect mood, such as food or drink containing caffeine, fat is not good

 

Keep your spirits up! Don't be afraid to take a break and seek help!
