Since March 2023, new culinary delights have started to appear in Malang City, one of which is Sate Mas Aan. Athhar, Kemas, Kevin, and Iqbal, FIA UB students class of 2020 and 2019, succeeded in introducing salty satay typical of Bandung City in Malang City. This satay, which is located on Teras Dewandaru, is open every day from seven in the evening until it runs out and they offer two flavors of two types of satay, namely spicy salted chicken satay, salted chicken satay, spicy salted beef satay and spicy beef satay. If combined with rice, koya, and Sate Mas Aan's signature chili sauce, the taste will be even more delicious. With the price of a portion starting from 17 thousand, your stomach is guaranteed to be full!
Starting from wanting to start a business thrifting, they realize that there is a business with bigger opportunities in Malang City, which is culinary. Aware that there is only a small amount of salty satay in Malang City, the four of them immediately came to Bandung and Jakarta to do taste research. After they found the right taste, they returned to Malang and started the R&D process for their satay business.
As it turned out, the R&D process was the most memorable for Kemas and Kevin. They can dig into the spices until they find the right seasoning composition. In fact, they even held a cooking contest to determine whose satay recipe could be used as their satay business recipe. Apart from that, they also researched strategic places for their business targets, namely students and university students, to seek furniture comfort and the best supplier of food raw materials and supporting raw materials for their business.
It's not a business if there are no obstacles. Kevin and Kemas feel that it is their own egos that are the obstacle to their business.
“To be honest, putting four ideas together into one sound is difficult,” said Kevin.
In addition, playing is also one of their obstacles. However, they can handle it by directly conveying basic opinions and arguments with logic and clear goals.
Their concern has also succeeded in opening jobs for four employees and will continue to increase in the near future.
"We feel happy too. Get to know a lot of new people that we can also help to make a living. Yes, let's just say we have a mutualism relationship," said Kemas and Kevin.
From beginners to beginners, Kemas and Kevin left a message through the adbis study program for MABIS who want to start a business,
"Gather intentions, don't just execute them, you have to do research from all aspects first!" Kevin's message.
"As Athar said, “Just start first!” Order Pack.
For MABIS who are still confused about what to eat at night, Sate Mas Aan can be your choice!
When you want to start a business, remember Mas Athhar's words, "Just start first!"
