The Department of Business Administration is a strategic part of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya, which specifically manages the Doctoral Program in Administrative Sciences (PDIA). This department is committed to developing the science and practice of business administration at the highest level through research, scientific publications, and policy development that is oriented towards real solutions to organizational challenges in the global era.

The department houses two doctoral study programs, namely the Doctoral Program in Administrative Science (PDIA) Malang Campus and the Doctoral Program in Administrative Science (PDIA) Jakarta Campus. Both programs are designed to provide space for academic and professional development in the field of business administration, with a research-based learning approach and integration between managerial theory, organizational innovation, and strategic leadership practices.

PDIA Malang focuses on strengthening theoretical foundations and scientific contributions in the development of administrative science, as well as strengthening research based on local and national issues. Meanwhile, PDIA Jakarta is here to answer the needs of professionals and practitioners in the capital city and its surroundings, with flexibility and strong networks in the industrial sector, bureaucracy, and international institutions.

Supported by a team of promoters and academics who are experienced and active in internationally reputable scientific publications, the Department of Business Administration serves as a center for the development of critical and innovative thinking. Doctoral students are directed to become academic leaders and strategic practitioners who are able to make significant contributions to the development of business administration science at the national and global levels.

With the support of adaptive learning infrastructure, a collaborative academic ecosystem, and a broad network of international partners, the Department of Business Administration continues to strengthen its role as a leading institution in producing doctors who have scientific integrity, leadership vision, and sensitivity to the dynamics of change in the world of business and government.
