Odd Semester Academic Activities FY 2021/2022 FIA UB

Follow up and consider:

Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards

  • Circular of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2020 concerning Prevention of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) in Education Units;
  • Director General of Higher Education Circular Letter Number 1 of 2020 concerning Prevention of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) in Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture;
  • Letter of the Director General of Higher Education Number 3012/E.E2/KR/2020 concerning the Study Period for Implementing Education Programs;
  • Regulation of the Chancellor of the University of Brawijaya Number 35 of 2020 regarding the Implementation of a Resilient Campus at the University of Brawijaya during and after the Covid-19 Pandemic;

Several things need to be conveyed regarding the implementation of academic activities for the odd semester 2021/2022 in the environment and for residents of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences as follows:

  1. The implementation of the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) for the odd semester 2021/2022 will be carried out online via combination of asynchronous methods, it is recommended to use UB's Virtual Learning Management facility (VLM2) and synchronous method by using platforms facility meetings such as Zoom, Google Meet, Jitsi, Webex, or social media such as YouTube, Whatsapp and similar
  2. Implementation of PBM using the synchronous method via virtual face-to-face is recommended to be carried out between 5-7 meetings with a maximum duration of 60 minutes per meeting
  3. The implementation of online PBM is highly recommended to be carried out using a collaborative method and case study approach
  4. The number of meetings in one semester is 16 meetings including UTS and UAS with a schedule according to the 2021/2022 FY academic calendar determined by the Chancellor of Brawijaya University
  5. UTS and UAS activities are carried out following the schedule in the academic calendar with the procedures for implementation being handed over to each course lecturer
  6. Grade input is carried out via SIADO and lecturers who do not/do not have a SIADO account can submit learning outcomes grades via the FIA UB academic subsection online according to the schedule on the 2021/2022 academic calendar determined by the Chancellor of Brawijaya University.
  7. Practical activities are carried out online by making video tutorials or using platforms such as Tableau, SSM, System Dynamic, Business Simulation, Accounting Simulation, Virtual Tourism Simulation and so on
  8. Internship/KKN activities are advised not to go directly into the field unless the activity is organized officially by the university or the Ministry of Education and Culture, such as the Certified Internship Student Program, MBKM Internship Program, Thematic KKN, participating in PkM activities carried out by lecturers, or carrying out substitute activities that have been arranged by the Faculty/ Department/prodi
  9. The Internship/KKN administrative service process is carried out online through an integrated online service system https://fia.ub.ac.id/sifia
  10. Consultation activities and internship exams are carried out online
  11. Completion of the Final Assignment is encouraged to be done using secondary data or conducting literature research. In the event that the data used is primary data, we are advised not to go directly into the field and are advised to use the Google Form application to collect data
  12. Guidance activities for the preparation of final assignments and final exams are carried out online while still paying attention to the quality of writing in accordance with the guidebook for preparing final assignments and the code of ethics and rules for writing good and correct scientific papers.
  13. The judicial process is carried out online
  14. Students whose study period ends in the even semester 2021/2020 are given the opportunity to complete their studies according to the provisions and quality standards in the odd semester 2021/2022
  15. Guest lectures or exams involving lecturers from outside Brawijaya University, 3 in 1 programs, student exchanges, and holding international seminars or conferences are carried out online

Thus, this Circular Letter was issued in the context of implementing Academic Activities at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Brawijaya University in the odd semester of FY 2020/2021. May Allah SWT, the Almighty God, always provide convenience and protection to all of us.
