SEMESTER BETWEEN YEARS ACADEMIC 2023/2024
1. GENERAL
-
- The Intermediate Semester Program is a lecture program that is carried out during the Even Semester holidays.
- The Intermediate Semester Program aims to provide students with the opportunity to improve the grades of courses they have already taken and/or new courses determined by the study program in order to increase their cumulative achievement index and shorten the study period and avoid dropping out of study.
- The Intermediate Semester applies to all Departments and study programs (Strata 1) within the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya.
2. COURSES OFFERED
The courses offered are courses that have been determined by the Department/Study Program.
3. ORGANIZATION OF LECTURES
-
- Organizing the Intermediate Semester Lectures includes lecture activities on an ongoing basis offline, structured assignments, independent assignments, Intermediate Mid Semester Examination and Intermediate Semester Final Examination.
- Intermediate semester classes are held for 4 (four) weeks and/or held at least 16 (sixteen) lectures simultaneously offline including Mid Semester Examination (UTS) and Final Semester Examination (UAS).
4. NUMBER OF CREDITS
The maximum number of credits that can be taken in the Intermediate Semester is 9 (nine) credits
5. ORGANIZATION OF INTERMEDIATE SEMESTER CLASS

- Students who are allowed to take part in Intermediate Semester activities are students who are active in the Even Semester FY 2023/2024.
- Students are allowed to take courses that have never been taken before (new courses).
- Courses that can be taken in the Intermediate Semester are courses that have been taken with a maximum grade of B+
- Courses that can be taken in the Intermediate Semester are courses that have passed the prerequisite courses
- Intermediate Semester Classes can be held if the minimum number of class participants is 15 (fifteen) students, if this does not reach the minimum number then the class can still be held provided that participants are willing to bear the costs of 15 (fifteen) students.
6. CANCELLATION OF COURSES
- Courses that have been programmed by students may not be cancelled.
- If a course is canceled by the Department/Study Program because the number of participants does not meet or the existing participants do not want to cover the shortfall in fees, then students can transfer programming to another course
- If it happens that a student cancels a course unilaterally and/or the student does not transfer programming to another course then Fees that have been paid cannot be withdrawn.
7. INTERMEDIATE SEMESTER FEE
The fee per credit is IDR. 200,000, (Two Hundred Thousand Rupiah)*. Payments are made via the Chancellor's account with a Virtual Account:

8. INTERMEDIATE SEMESTER REGISTRATION
8.1. Registration
Date: 10 – 21 June 2024
8.2. Registration Method
Registration for the Intermediate Semester for the 2023/2024 Academic Year is carried out with the following conditions:
- Department of Business Administration (Business Administration, Taxation, Tourism): https://bit.ly/SemesterAntaraDepBisnis23-24
- Department of Public Administration (Public Administration, Library Science, Educational Administration): https://bit.ly/SemesterAntaraDepPublik23-24
- Upload KRS and KHS prerequisite courses from the courses taken.
- Payment must be made using a Bank Deposit Slip with information 'Intermediate Semester Deposits for the 2023/2024 FIA Academic Year UB'.
- Uploading the Intermediate Semester Deposit Slip which has been approved by the Bank.
- Send Physical Proof of Intermediate Semester Deposit Slips to the FIA Academic Sub-Division, building B Floor 1, no later than June 21 2024.
9. IMPLEMENTATION
The Intermediate Semester is held on 26 June – 20 July 2024 (including UTS and UAS Antara).
10. OTHERS
-
- Intermediate Semester GPA (Grade Index) Doesn't Affect Admission Number of credits in the coming semester.
- If a student violates the provisions stipulated in the Faculty/University Education Guidebook and this Decree in implementing lectures and exams in this Intermediate Semester, the student will be Aborted from ALL COURSES taken in the Intermediate Semester.
- The maximum value obtained is A, if the value obtained during the Intermediate Semester is smaller than the previous value, then the best value will be used.
