Once again, FAS UB held the 2016-2020 FAS UB Strategic Plan Workshop on Tuesday, October 20. The main agenda of the third strategic workshop was to listen to responses from experts, stakeholders and users. Prof. Dr. Ginandjar Kartasasmita (Professor of Development Administration FAS UB), Prof. Dr. Umar Nimran, MA (Professor of Business Administration FAS UB), and Prof. Dr. Sumartono, MS (Professor of Public Administration FAS UB) were the experts who gave their responses. In the mean time, the users and stakeholders who also gave their responses were representatives of the local government in Malang Raya, the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucracy Reform, alumni as well as the heads of departments and programs of FAS UB.
On that occasion, Prof. Dr. Ginandjar Kartasasmita highlighted the design of the motto of FAS UB which is "The Home for Future Business and Government Leaders." According to him, if FAS could establish the motto successfully, FAS UB would set a standard that distinguished the institution from others. "When other faculties are satisfied with their graduates working as managers, FAS UB should be the one that produces Indonesian future leaders," said the former head of the Indonesian Regional Representative Council in 2004-2009.
