Quality assurance mechanism at the MPAP FIA UB is implemented both internally and externally. Internal evaluation is carried out by:
- Quality Assurance Centre or Pusat Jaminan Mutu (PJM) at university level;
- Quality Assurance Centre or Gugus Jaminan Mutu (GJM) at faculty level; and
- Quality Assurance Unit or Unit Jaminan Mutu (UJM) at department level.
External evaluation is done by recognized Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT). Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT) or the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (NAAHE) is the main accreditation agency for higher education in Indonesia.
Quality Assurance Unit or Unit Jaminan Mutu (UJM) is a functional unit of quality assurance implementation of academic activities at the department level (department level in the structure oversees the study program, including MPAP). UJM is led by a chairman who is under the organizational structure of Public Administration Department FIA UB and directly responsible to the Head of Department.
