Badan Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Faculty of Administrative Science Universitas Brawijaya, then known as BPPM FIA UB is a faculty unit that has a duty to improve the quality and quantity of research, community service and faculty cooperation. As one of the units in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Universitas Brawijaya, BPPM is directly responsible to the Dean according to FIA UB Dean Regulation No. 422 of 2016 on Organizational Structure and Working Procedure of Faculty of Administrative Science Universitas Brawijaya.

BPPM FIA UB was born along with the establishment of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences as a support unit of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi implementation, which in its journey up to now is aimed to realize the achievement of vision and mission of FIA UB as an education institution of quality administration and recognized by the society at inside and outside the country.

BPPM FIA UB has several functions including:

  1. Improving the quality of research, scientific work, community service and national and international cooperation;
  2. Reviewing various public administration issues (public administration and business administration); and
  3. Development and dissemination of science, technology and arts (IPTEKS) administration and its application to improve the knowledge and standard of living of the community and enrich the national needs.

AIMS

  1. Improve and develop the quality of research and community service that supports the achievement of the vision and mission of FIA Universitas Brawijaya.
  2. Improving the academic atmosphere and the competence of faculty through research activities and community service.   
  3. Produce and realize the relevance of education, research and community service.

 

DUTY

BPPM has the duty to carry out coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of research activities, community service, and faculty cooperation.

 

FUNCTION

  1. improving the quality and quantity of research, scientific work, community service, and national and international cooperation;
  2. preparing BPPM plans, programs and budgets;
  3. implementation of scientific research, community service, and faculty cooperation;
  4. coordination of the implementation of research activities, community service, and cooperation;
  5. publication of research results, community service, and cooperation;
  6. the implementation of cooperation in the field of research and dedication to the community with universities and / or other institutions both domestically and abroad;
  7. monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of research activities, community service, and faculty cooperation; and
  8. reporting periodically to the Dean.
