The Department of Business Administration, which is under the auspices of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, is holding an accreditation visitation activity organized by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) on 18-19 September 2023. IACBE is a leading results-based professional accreditation institution for business and management education in colleges and universities whose primary goal is excellence, in teaching and learning. In this activity, the Department welcomed the arrival of two distinguished assessors from IACBE, namely: Jorge Cardenas, from Forbes School of Business and Technology, USA, who also serves as Chair of the IACBE Board of Directors, and Richard Kido, from Chaminade University, USA.
This visitation activity is an important part of the accreditation process which helps to ensure that the Study Program offered by the FIA-UB Business Department meets the high educational quality standards set by IACBE. It also provides an opportunity for the Department to showcase its latest achievements and innovations in the field of business education. It is hoped that this visit will be an important momentum for the Department of Business Administration to demonstrate its commitment to providing high-quality business education in accordance with international standards.
