The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) continues to strive for the success of the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) which was initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. No less than 204 FIA UB students have participated in the MBKM program in the Even Semester 2022/2023 alone. Among the program schemes followed by FIA UB students are Independent Study, Industrial Internship, Teaching Campus, and Rise. This number is expected to continue to increase considering that there are still study programs that are still completing the recapitulation process, and there are still many days left this year.

The MBKM activity was carried out by the Educational Administration Study Program some time ago

Coordinator of MBKM FIA UB Dr. Anni Rahimah, S.AB., M.AB stated that in 2021, the faculty will experience difficulties in converting courses from MBKM activities carried out by students. This is because many students still register for MBKM directly at partner institutions, so the faculty cannot synchronize the Learning Outcomes (CPL) of each study program with the activities students participate in. However, this situation has changed a lot since 2022. "In that year, we asked study programs to reconstruct the curriculum, so that there is room for the conversion of 20 credits for students taking MBKM according to the mandate of the Ministry of Education and Culture," said Expert Staff to the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs. .

Furthermore, in order to increase the number of students participating in MBKM, his party also continues to socialize students about the existing MBKM opportunities. This is also supported by the more active study programs in establishing partnerships with the industrial world through Cooperation Agreements (PKS), apart from MBKM flagship through the Ministry of Education and Culture directly. "We provide a lot of outreach to 3rd year students for the MBKM program and 2nd year for student exchange programs," he explained.

In addition, FIA UB is also directly involved in providing assistance to students who wish to take part in a selection program. Assistance provided in the form of training and debriefing. For example, for students who register for the IISMA program, a student exchange abroad funded by LPDP, FIA UB organizes training on how to compose a CV and interview techniques. "The point is that FIA UB continues to learn and strives to be adaptive to the rules set by the Ministry of Education and Culture," he added.
