a. Lecture

The teaching staff is educators, called lecturers, as per Article 1 point 2 of Law No. 14 of 2005 about Teachers and Lecturers. The lecturer is a professional educator and scientist with the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science on technology and art through education, research, and community service. Our Study Program has three types of lecturers: permanent government (PNS) lecturers, non-government permanent lecturers, and contracted lecturers. Permanent government lecturers recruitment organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Higher Education. On the other hand, the first contract for contracted lecturers is a minimum of two years and can be extended when needed. Generally, every lecturer in the study program has equal rights and obligations in their daily activities. The rights and obligations of non-government Lecturers is written in the Rector Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 483 of 2013 regarding Permanent Lecturers of Non-Government of Universitas Brawijaya. On the other hand, the rights and responsibilities of contracted lecturers are written in the Rector Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 38 of 2016 regarding the Appointment and Dismissal of Lecturers with work agreements originating from retired lecturers and professional staff outside the University of Brawijaya.

At our Faculty, lecturers are divided into 3 types, namely permanent PNS lecturers, non-PNS permanent lecturers, and lecturers with work agreements. PNS permanent lecturers and non PNS permanent lecturers are lecturers who work full time. Lecturers with work agreements are lecturers who are recruited with work agreements for a minimum of 2 (two) years and can be extended as needed. Recruitment for PNS permanent lecturers is carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Higher Education.
In general, every lecturer in the study program has the rights and obligations regulated in the regulations. The Rights and Obligations of Non Civil Servant Lecturers are regulated in the Rector Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 483 of 2013 concerning Permanent Lecturers of Non Civil Servants of Universitas Brawijaya. The rights and obligations of lecturers with work agreements are regulated in the Rector Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 38 of 2016 concerning the Appointment and Dismissal of Lecturers with work agreements originating from retired lecturers and professional staff outside the University of Brawijaya.

b. Education Staff

Educational personnel is faculty members appointed to support daily activities, especially management activities. Similar to the faculty academic staff, the non-academic staff at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences are divided into three types: permanent government staff, non-government permanent staff, and contracted staff. The first two staff types work as full-time employees.
