I. Introduction

The Business Administration Study Program has a strategic role in preparing competent and adaptive graduates to the needs of society and the business world and industry (DUDI). To ensure the relevance of the curriculum and improve the quality of graduates, identifying DUDI needs is a crucial step. This document aims to identify competency needs, industry trends, and challenges faced by the business world in order to develop a more responsive academic strategy.

II. Identification Method

Identification of DUDI needs is carried out using several methods:

1. Surveys and Questionnaires – Collecting data from companies, alumni, and industry associations regarding graduate skills and competency needs.

2. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) – Holding discussions with industry players, academics, and other stakeholders to understand developments in business trends.

3. Document Study – Analysis of industry trend reports, company annual reports, and national policies related to HR development.

4. Collaboration with the Business World and Industry World – Conducting regular meetings and collaboration with industry partners to adapt the curriculum to the needs of the job market.

III. Results of DUDI Needs Identification

Based on the above methods, here are some of the main needs identified:

1. Managerial and Leadership Skills – The business world needs graduates with strong managerial, leadership and decision-making skills.

2. Digital Business and Technology Transformation – Competencies in e-commerce, digital marketing, and data analysis are becoming increasingly important.

3. Communication and Negotiation Skills – Effective interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skills are a top priority for the company.

IV. Implications for Curriculum and Study Program Development

Based on the identification results, the Business Administration Study Program needs to make the following adjustments:

1. Digital Technology Integration – Incorporating courses related to digital marketing, data analysis, and e-commerce into the curriculum.

2. Enhance Internship Programs and Industrial Cooperation – Strengthen relationships with the business world through internship programs, industrial case studies, and joint projects.

3. Soft Skills Development – Improve communication, leadership and negotiation skills through interactive learning methods.

4. Entrepreneurship-Based Curriculum – Encourage students to develop an entrepreneurial spirit with applicable business projects.

5. Professional Certification – Facilitating students in obtaining professional certification that is relevant to the industrial world.

6. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Case Studies – Applying problem-based learning and case study methods to improve students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.

V. Conclusion and Recommendations

Identification of community and DUDI needs shows that Business Administration graduates must have more flexible and adaptive competencies to industry changes. Therefore, continuous curriculum alignment, increased collaboration with the business world, and the development of technology-based and entrepreneurship-based learning programs are needed. Thus, graduates of the Business Administration Study Program can be better prepared to face challenges and opportunities in the world of work and contribute significantly to the development of the economy and business in Indonesia.
