(17/12) Today, Sarjana’s Program in Library Science held a Guest Lecture with the theme “Best Practices of Libraries in the US and Asia". With Endry Putra, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom as the moderator, this time John Hickok, Public Services Librarian from California State University Fullerton was invited to the Guest Lecture. Dean of FAS UB, Drs. Andy Fefta Wijaya, MDA., Ph.D., opened the event and directly welcomed the guest speaker. In his presentation, John Hickok emphasized that nowadays libraries could attract visitors of all ages by adapting interactive library ideas from abroad to be implemented in Indonesia with minimum budget of each library.
