Good news came from the contingent Marching Band Brawijaya University which competed in the competition Thailand International Drumline Competition 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand. UB's contingent has won achievements in several competitions, namely:
- Number 1 winner Visual
- Rank 5 number Brass Battle
- Rank 4 number Drumbattles
- Number 3 winner Marching Show
The achievements achieved by UB's contingent cannot be separated from the contribution of student representatives from the Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA). Assistant Dean III of FIA UB Dr Sri Mangesti Rahayu MSi said that among the UB contingent there were nine students from FIA. "For the achievements of the contingent Drum band UB, FIA UB are also proud because nine of their students took part in the victory," said Sri Mangesti.
