FIA UB Officially Establishes Cooperation with Boston University, Opens Double Degree Program for Masters

Malang, February 28, 2025 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) has officially established an academic partnership with Boston University in order to improve the quality of education and provide international academic experience for students. This agreement was marked by the signing of the Master Agreement which was held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Jakarta Campus of Universitas Brawijaya.

The signing ceremony was attended by Andy Fefta, Dean of FIA UB along with faculty leaders, and representatives from Boston University, namely Ms. Neus Codina, Executive Director of MET from Boston University. On this occasion, both parties confirmed their commitment to work together in organizing the Double Degree program which will provide great benefits for Master of Public Administration and Business Administration students of FIA UB.

This Double Degree Program provides an opportunity for students to study at two renowned educational institutions, namely Brawijaya University and Boston University. Thus, students not only gain academic experience from two different perspectives, but also broaden their horizons in a global context. This program is designed to equip students with superior competencies, both in theory and practice, in order to prepare them to become professionals who are ready to compete in the international job market.

With this collaboration, FIA UB further strengthens its position as an educational institution that is adaptive to global changes and continues to strive to provide the best learning experience for its students. It is hoped that this Double Degree program can produce graduates who not only have a deep understanding of administrative science, but also have broad international insight and skills that are ready to be used in the world of work.
