On November 12 2019, the Business Administration Study Program conducted a Curriculum Focus Group Discussion with stakeholders. This activity was held on the 2nd floor of building B, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. corporate governance and eentrepreneurship. This event was attended by 22 institutions, both BUMN and private companies, such as PT Pelindo 3 Surabaya, PT Grab Technology Indonesia, Bank Mandiri Syariah, PT BRI Tbk, PT. BNI Tbk, PT. Petrokimia Gresik, Malang Customs Office, Perum Jasa Tirta, PT. Indonesian Trading Company (Persero) Malang Cab, IBIS Hotel Malang, Jatim Park Holding Company, OJK Malang, Danareksa (Persero), KEK Singhasari Malang, Astra Isuzu, Jawa Pos Radar Malang and many others. The main purpose of this activity is to get input from Stakeholders regarding the qualifications of graduates to suit company needs so that PSAB can improve the learning system, learning facilities and infrastructure, as well as assessments in accordance with the revised new curriculum.
This activity began with a prayer and continued with remarks from the chief executive, Dr. Nur Imamah, SAB., MAB., PhD, head of the Department of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Mochamad Al Musadieq, MBA, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono, MS. The main event was delivered by the Head of PSAB, Nila Firdausi Nuzula, MSi with moderator Dr. Anni Rahimah, SAB., MAB, PhD. After the milestones of the journey, PSAB achievements and course syllabus were presented, representatives from various agencies provided input for the improvement of PSAB graduates. Based on the results of the discussion, PSAB students need to strengthen both their soft skills and hard skills, especially in terms of people management, process learning, complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, coordinating with others, emotional intelligence, judgment and decision making, negotiation, endurance, mentorship and also integrity.
