Tourism Study Program Profile

The tourism study program is one of the study programs under the auspices of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Brawijaya University. The history of the establishment of the Tourism Study Program (PSP) began with the birth of the D3 Tourism program at FIA UB, namely in 1993. Due to changes in the structure and nomenclature of vocational education within the scope of Brawijaya University, all vocational study programs (D3) are managed by the vocational faculty.

With this change, FIA UB determined the birth of a study program at the undergraduate level (S1), namely the Tourism Study Program in 2014. This initiative was taken by FIA UB based on an analysis of market needs that bachelor level education in tourism is expected to be a backbone of competitiveness from national tourism to international tourism.
