Public Management2This course seeks to provide students with the ability to analyze the basic concepts of public management in general, such as knowing the principles of public management, the concept of New Public Management (NPM), New Public Service (NPS) and Good Governance (GG) approaches. In addition, students are also expected to be able to analyze the practice of contacting for Public Service, then how to analyze public management innovations, the application of e-government and e-governance, knowing and analyzing the importance of citizen engagement and stakeholder engagement as well as collaborative and accountability of public management as well as ethics and public management reform. Thus, students are expected to be sensitive to the phenomenon that develops in society. 1
Introduction to Research Methods and Scientific Writing2The course "Introduction to Research Methods and Scientific Writing" is a course designed to provide Basic understanding of scientific research methods and skills in writing scientific papers. Through this course, Students will learn the basic steps in designing and executing research, as well as how to structure and communicate research results effectively in the form of scientific writings. This course aims to equip students with the basics of research methodology which includes the selection of research topics, formulation of research questions, data collection and analysis, as well as interpretation of results. In addition, students will also be taught about the principles of Good scientific writing, including a structure and writing style that conforms to academic standards. The material taught in this course will cover basic concepts about the types of research, research ethics, techniques data collection, data analysis, and the basics of scientific writing. Students will also be given the opportunity to practice designing a simple research plan and drafting correct and comprehensive scientific writing. Course "Introduction Research Methods and Scientific Writing" has an important role in forming a foundation for students to understand scientific research process and the ability to communicate research findings clearly and accurately. Thus, this course will help students build a strong foundation for the development of skills Research and writing during student studies.
