Imron Arifin, M.Pd, as the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Education Management/Administration Study Program Association (APMAPI).
This activity is part of a series of evaluation processes and curriculum strengthening in the Master of Higher Education Management Study Program (MMPT) FIA UB. In the forum, an in-depth study was conducted on the suitability of the study program nomenclature and the relevance of the academic degrees awarded, based on national standards and job market needs.
In addition, this event also became a forum for delivering input from APMAPI as a professional association that oversees similar study programs nationally. In his presentation, Prof. Imron said that it is important for the MMPT program to adapt to the dynamics of scientific developments and field demands, including adjusting course names, graduate learning outcomes (CPL), and curriculum based on the needs of society and the world of work.
This review event is a continuation of a series of curriculum evaluation activities that have been carried out by FIA UB since January 2020. The evaluation was carried out comprehensively through joint consultations with lecturers, alumni, graduate users, and work partners, and followed up with a tracer study of graduates. This activity also involved assessors from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) as an effort to ensure academic quality and accountability.
Through this review, it is expected that the MMPT curriculum can provide an adaptive, contextual, and competitive learning experience. In addition, FIA UB also affirms its vision to become an excellent institution at the national and international levels in the field of higher education management.
With a collaborative approach and based on real needs, FIA UB is optimistic that graduates of the Higher Education Management Masters Study Program will be increasingly prepared to become administrators, consultants, and leaders in educational institutions that drive positive change for the nation.
