BETWEEN SEMESTERS OF 2021

FACULTY OF ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES UNIVERSITY OF BRAWIJAYA

 

  1. GENERAL

    • The Intermediate Semester Program is a lecture program that is carried out during the Even Semester holidays.
    • The Intermediate Semester Program aims to provide opportunities for students to improve the grades of courses that have been taken and/or new courses determined by the study program in order to increase the cumulative grade point average and shorten the study period and prevent dropouts.
    • The Intermediate Semester applies to all majors and study programs (Strata 1) within the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya.
    • Intermediate semesters can also take courses that have never been programmed (new courses).

 

  1. COURSES OFFERED

The courses offered are courses that have been determined by the Department/Study Program.

 

  1. IMPLEMENTATION OF LECTURES

    • Organizing Intermediate Semester Lectures includes online lecture activities, structured assignments, independent assignments, Intermediate Mid Semester Examination and Intermediate Semester Final Examination.
    • Intermediate semester classes are held for 4 (four) weeks and/or held at least 16 (sixteen) lectures online including midterm and final semester exams.

 

  1. TOTAL SKS

The maximum number of credits that can be taken in the Intermediate Semester is 9 (nine) credits

 

  1. ADMINISTRATION OF BETWEEN SEMESTER CLASSES

    • Students who are allowed to take part in Intermediate Semester activities are students who are active in the Even Semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.
    • Students are allowed to take courses that have never been taken before (new courses).
    • Courses that can be taken in the Intermediate Semester are courses that have been taken in the value category <A
    • Courses that can be taken in the Intermediate Semester are courses that have passed the prerequisite courses
    • Intermediate semester classes can be held if the minimum number of class participants is 15 (fifteen) students, if this does not reach the minimum number then classes can still be held on condition that participants are willing to bear the costs of a total of 15 (fifteen) students.

 

6. COURSE CANCELLATION

    • Courses that have been programmed by students may not be cancelled.
    • Cancellation of courses is only possible if:

1. The number of students (class participants) does not meet the minimum number of participants that has been determined.

2. Scheduled courses that have been programmed concurrently (conflicting).

3. The course is canceled by the Department/Study Program.

    • The process of canceling courses can only be accepted during the registration period and the process is carried out by the Academic Subdivision of FIA UB.
    • For students participating in the Intermediate Semester who cancel courses according to the provisions above, please confirm online with the Academic Subdivision during the registration deadline.

 

  1. BETWEEN SEMESTER COSTS

The cost per credit for students in Intermediate Semester activities at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya is Rp. 100,000, (One Hundred Thousand Rupiah). Payments are made through the Chancellor's account BNI No. 39649462.

2. Upload KRS and KHS prerequisite courses from the courses taken.

3. Payment is mandatory using a deposit slip at the bank with the news 'Intermediate Semester Deposits for 2021 FIA'.

4. Upload the Intermediate Semester Deposit Slip that has been approved by the Bank.

5. Send the Intermediate Semester Deposit Slip to the Academic Section no later than June 21, 2021.

 

  1. COURSE SCHEDULE

Lectures including UTS Between and UAS Between are from 21 June to 17 July 2021.

 

  1. ETC

    • Intermediate Semester GPA (Grade Index) Doesn't Affect Admission Number of credits in the coming semester.
    • If a student violates the provisions stipulated in the Faculty/University Education Guidebook and this Decree in implementing lectures and exams in this Intermediate Semester, the student will be Aborted from ALL COURSES taken in the Intermediate Semester.
    • The maximum value obtained is A, if the value obtained during the Intermediate Semester is smaller than the previous value, then the best value will be used.
    • Intermediate Semester refunds are permitted if:
      • Courses that do not meet the administration requirements.
      • Overpayment will be transferred to each student's account after the 2020/2021 Intermediate Semester lectures end.
      • Matters that have not been regulated in this rule will be determined by the Faculty Leaders later, if this is deemed necessary.
