
Malang, April 26, 2024 – The Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA) of Brawijaya University, in collaboration with the Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA), held a two-day National Working Meeting, April 26-27, 2024. This activity aims to establish a new National Curriculum for Public Administration.
The event was opened with remarks by the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Arik Prasetya, Ph.D., who expressed his gratitude to all parties for the trust given to FIA Universitas Brawijaya as the host. "We are very proud to be able to contribute to the preparation of the curriculum that will define the future of Public Administration in Indonesia," said Arik Prasetya.

Prof. Dr. Agus Pramusinto, Chairman of IAPA, in his speech appreciated the cooperation between IAPA and FIA Universitas Brawijaya. He said, "This year, IAPA is working hard to prepare various significant activities, including the Professional Certification Institute, the Public Administration Study Program Accreditation Institute, and the International Conference." Prof. Pramusinto added that the curriculum changes being prepared are a response to the dynamics and development of science, as well as the needs of the times.
The National Working Meeting was attended by academics, practitioners, and representatives from related institutions, all of whom provided important input to the proposed curriculum design. This activity is expected to produce an innovative and relevant curriculum, meeting the needs of adaptive and progressive Public Administration education.
The establishment of the National Curriculum for Public Administration is a strategic step in preparing skilled and professional human resources in the field of administration in Indonesia.
