This study intends to find out about the implementation of performance management system in public sectors in Indonesia with comparartive case studies in general inspectorate ministry of finance, corruption Eradication Commission and Surabaya City Government. Taking into account that there are some similarities between central governments, state organization and local government in Indonesia and some distintice features for their organizational structures, functions, core business and so forth, it is appeliang to discover how they differ but still harmonize in the implementation of their performance management systems.
