This research was conducted in SEZ Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera Province, an SEZ that develop as the first industrial SEZ in Indonesia.
This study aims to explore the role of incentives in Indonesian SEZs and how far the incentives can attract investments. A qualitative approach has been used by collecting primary and secondary data from 2011-2018 and interviewing six key respondents.
