The Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Administrative Science at Universitas Brawijaya continues to expand its global engagement through a recent academic visit to Taylor's University. The visit marks an important step in fostering international collaboration aimed at enhancing academic quality, research productivity, and student mobility in the Southeast Asian region.<\/p>\n

Representing Universitas Brawijaya (UB), the delegation consisted of Dr Agung Nugroho Luthfi Imam Fahrudi, Secretary of the Department of Business Administration, and Dr Moh. Said (Vice Dean III for Student Affairs). They were warmly received by Dr Kelvin Lee Yong Ming, Programme Director for the Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Banking and Finance as well as Finance and Economics at Taylor\u2019s University.<\/p>\n

The meeting focused on several strategic initiatives designed to strengthen institutional ties. Among the key areas discussed were student exchange programs, joint research collaborations, and co-authored international publications. These initiatives are expected to provide students and faculty members with broader academic exposure, cross-cultural experiences, and opportunities to contribute to impactful research.<\/p>\n

A notable highlight of the discussion was the exploration of a potential double degree program at the undergraduate level. This initiative would allow students to benefit from the academic strengths of both institutions, enhancing their global competitiveness and employability.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Department of Business Administration at UB formally invited qualified students from Taylor\u2019s University to apply for the Brawijaya International Student Scholarship. This scholarship program reflects UB\u2019s commitment to attracting talented international students and fostering a diverse academic environment.<\/p>\n

This visit also aligns with global efforts to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 on Quality Education. By promoting international academic collaboration, both institutions contribute to improving access to high-quality education and strengthening global partnerships.<\/p>\n

Through this engagement, Universitas Brawijaya reaffirms its position as a globally connected institution, while Taylor\u2019s University continues to expand its international academic network.
