Malang, East Java \u2013 <\/b>Wednesday (8\/5\/2024), became a historic day for the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) which succeeded in achieving an important milestone in the world of international education by receiving an accreditation certificate from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) based in the United States. This achievement is the first time for a university in Indonesia, marking international recognition of the quality of education provided to FIA UB, especially in the Department of Business Administration which manages four study programs: Bachelor of Business Administration Program, Bachelor of Taxation Program, Bachelor of Tourism Program, and Master of Business Administration Program.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The process to obtain this accreditation took about three years, involving hard work and dedication from the entire team at FIA UB. This effort includes continuous improvement in academic processes, quality assurance, and strengthening institutional capacity to meet international standards set by IACBE.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The certificate was presented directly by the Interim President of IACBE, Archish \u201cArch\u201d Maharaja, and the Director of IACBE Accreditation, Laurie Yates, to the Dean of FIA UB, Prof. Drs. Andy Fefta Wijaya, MDA., Ph.D at Framingham State University, who was accompanied by Dr. Nur Imamah, Ph.D, Head of the Department of Business Administration, and Agung Nugroho Luthfi Imam Fahrudi, Ph.D, Head of the IACBE FIA UB Accreditation Team. The certificate was received with great pride, where Maharaja in his speech stated that this achievement opens wider doors for FIA UB to join the network of IACBE-accredited universities around the world. \u201cYou are now part of our big family,\u201d said Maharaja, emphasizing IACBE\u2019s commitment to support FIA UB in developing broader international cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Prof. Drs. Andy Fefta Wijaya, MDA., Ph.D expressed his gratitude and pride for the achievement. He emphasized that the IACBE certification is not only a recognition, but also a great opportunity to improve the quality of education and expand international collaboration, especially in terms of student and lecturer exchanges, as well as joint research. "With this accreditation, our opportunities to carry out student and lecturer exchanges, research collaborations, and various other academic activities within the IACBE network are increasingly wide open," he said.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

The achievement of the IACBE certificate provides new momentum for FIA UB in developing superior programs such as Double Degree and Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), which are expected to provide valuable international learning experiences for FIA UB students and lecturers. With various achievements and international cooperation that continues to be carried out, FIA UB is increasingly strengthening its position as one of the leading faculties in Indonesia that is able to compete in the global arena.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

On this very valuable occasion, the delegation of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Brawijaya University (FIA UB) consisting of Prof. Dr. Andy Fefta Wijaya, MDA., Ph.D as Dean, Dr. Nur Imamah, Ph.D as Head of the Department of Business Administration, and Agung Nugroho Luthfi Imam Fahrudi, Ph.D as Head of the IACBE FIA UB Accreditation Team, has conducted a working visit to three leading universities in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

On Tuesday (7\/5\/2024), the delegation explored opportunities for collaboration with Boston University, which was then followed by a meeting at Framingham University on Wednesday (8\/5\/2024), and New York University (NYU) on Friday, (10\/5\/2024). In order to strengthen academic relations and improve the quality of education, several areas of collaboration discussed included lecturer and student exchange programs, collaboration in joint research and publications, and the development of dual degree programs.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Malang, Jawa Timur \\u2013 <\\\/b>Rabu (8\\\/5\\\/2024), menjadi hari bersejarah bagi Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) yang berhasil mencapai tonggak penting dalam dunia pendidikan internasional dengan menerima sertifikat akreditasi dari International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) yang berbasis di Amerika Serikat. Pencapaian ini merupakan yang pertama kalinya bagi universitas di Indonesia, menandai pengakuan internasional atas kualitas pendidikan yang diberikan kepada FIA UB, khususnya di Departemen Administrasi Bisnis yang mengelola empat program studi: Program Sarjana Administrasi Bisnis, Program Sarjana Perpajakan, Program Sarjana Pariwisata, dan Program Magister Administrasi Bisnis.<\\\/span><\\\/p>\\r\\n

Proses untuk mendapatkan akreditasi ini memakan waktu sekitar tiga tahun, melibatkan kerja keras dan dedikasi seluruh tim di FIA UB. Upaya ini mencakup perbaikan terus-menerus dalam proses akademik, penjaminan kualitas, serta penguatan kapasitas kelembagaan untuk memenuhi standar internasional yang ditetapkan oleh IACBE.<\\\/span><\\\/p>\\r\\n

Penyerahan sertifikat dilakukan secara langsung oleh Presiden Interim IACBE, Archish \\u201cArch\\u201d Maharaja, dan Direktur Akreditasi IACBE, Laurie Yates, kepada Dekan FIA UB, Prof. Drs. Andy Fefta Wijaya, MDA., Ph.D di Framingham State University, yang didampingi oleh didampingi oleh Dr. Nur Imamah, Ph.D, Ketua Departemen Administrasi Bisnis, dan Agung Nugroho Luthfi Imam Fahrudi, Ph.D, Ketua Tim Akreditasi IACBE FIA UB. Sertifikat tersebut diterima dengan penuh kebanggaan, di mana Maharaja dalam sambutannya menyatakan bahwa pencapaian ini membuka pintu lebih luas bagi FIA UB untuk bergabung dalam jaringan universitas-universitas terakreditasi IACBE di seluruh dunia. \\\"Anda sekarang merupakan bagian dari keluarga besar kami,\\\" ujar Maharaja, menegaskan komitmen IACBE untuk mendukung FIA UB dalam mengembangkan kerjasama internasional yang lebih luas.<\\\/span><\\\/p>\\r\\n

Prof. Drs. Andy Fefta Wijaya, MDA., Ph.D menyatakan rasa syukur dan kebanggaannya atas pencapaian tersebut. Beliau menekankan bahwa sertifikasi IACBE ini bukan hanya sebagai pengakuan, tetapi juga sebagai kesempatan besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan memperluas kolaborasi internasional, terutama dalam hal pertukaran mahasiswa dan dosen, serta penelitian bersama. \\u201cDengan adanya akreditasi ini, peluang kami untuk melaksanakan pertukaran mahasiswa dan dosen, kerjasama penelitian, dan berbagai kegiatan akademik lainnya dalam jaringan IACBE semakin terbuka lebar,\\u201d ujarnya.<\\\/span><\\\/p>\\r\\n

Pencapaian sertifikat IACBE ini memberikan momentum baru bagi FIA UB dalam mengembangkan program-program unggulan seperti Double Degree dan Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), yang diharapkan dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar internasional yang berharga bagi mahasiswa dan dosen FIA UB. Pada kesempatan yang sangat berharga ini, delegasi Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) yang terdiri dari Prof. Dr. Andy Fefta Wijaya, MDA., Ph.D selaku Dekan, Dr. Nur Imamah, Ph.D selaku Ketua Departemen Administrasi Bisnis, serta Agung Nugroho Luthfi Imam Fahrudi, Ph.D selaku Ketua Tim Akreditasi IACBE FIA UB, telah melakukan kunjungan kerja ke tiga universitas ternama di Amerika Serikat.<\\\/span><\\\/p>\\r\\n

Selasa (7\\\/5\\\/2024), delegasi tersebut menjajaki peluang kerjasama dengan Boston University, yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pertemuan di Framingham University pada hari Rabu (8\\\/52024), serta New York University (NYU) pada hari Jumat, (10\\\/5\\\/2024). Dalam rangka memperkuat hubungan akademik dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, beberapa area kerjasama yang dibahas meliputi program pertukaran dosen dan mahasiswa, kolaborasi dalam penelitian dan publikasi bersama, serta pengembangan program gelar ganda.<\\\/span><\\\/p>\\r\\n
