Internet of Things (IoT) is very necessary in this era because the influence of the internet has spread everywhere. Don't forget Artificial Intelligence (AI), which some people are worried about. In his explanation, Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti, M.Sc., Ph.D as the Director General of Science, Technology and Higher Education Resources, KEMENRISTEKDIKTI said that it is not impossible for Human Resources (HR) to be replaced by robots. From its relation to the educational aspect, prospective workers in this field must train their skills from an early age in line with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

There are three components in anticipation that need to be planted, namely: Mindset that need to be changed, humanistic, as well as competence.

“As students, you need to develop the 4 C aspects, namely Critical Thinking, Creativity Communicative, And collaboration, explained Prof. Ali in the Activation seminar with the theme of Education in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 which was held by the Education Administration Student Association, Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA) Universitas Brawijaya (UB), on Monday (22/10/2018) in the UB FIA Hall.

Prof. Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti, M.Sc., Ph.D

If you look at the strength of human resources abroad, Indonesia is considered to lack aspects of collaboration between individuals. All returned to the Human Resources. Students, even the community can be unable to compete with machines or robots unless they have the three components of anticipation and 4 C as previously mentioned.

Furthermore, the next speaker, namely Dr. HM Hidayat, MM, M.Pd as the Head of the Malang Regency Education Office focuses on human resources who should be qualified and have quality and work together in the current digital era. There is a need to reform the education system for early handling of fears of replacing humans with robots.

"Higher Education must have an educational ideology with technology that is unified," said Hidayat.

Dr. HM Hidayat, MM, M.Pd

Hidayat's version, to get competitive human resources in industry 4.0, the education curriculum must be designed so that the output is capable of mastering new literacy. These outputs include data literacy, namely the ability to read, analyze and utilize big data information in the digital world. In addition, technological literacy is understanding how machines work, technology applications. The last is human literacy, humanities, communication and design which aims to enable humans to function well in an increasingly dynamic environment.

“There needs to be an attitude of togetherness and mutual cooperation in facing the current era.
