Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono MS was finally appointed by the Chancellor of Universitas Brawijaya as Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA UB) for the 2017-2021 period, Monday (5\/6). The inauguration event coincided with the inauguration of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, as well as several echelon III and IV officials within Universitas Brawijaya. The event which took place at Samantha Krida UB Building was held solemnly with the recitation of the oath led directly by the Chancellor Prof Dr Ir Mohammad Bisri MS. <\/p>\n

Prof. Bambang Supriyono was elected as the Dean of FIA UB for the second period after going through a long process at the faculty level. Starting from the administrative selection which is marked by a statement of ability to become a candidate for dean, then continues to the selection stage. Of the four potential candidates, Andy Fefta Wijaya PhD, Dr Mochammad Al Musadieq MBA, Dr Siti Ragil Handayani MS, and Prof Bambang himself, three candidates advanced to the faculty senate consideration meeting stage. Then, the senate submitted two candidate names to the Chancellor, and then the Chancellor appointed Prof. Bambang as the next FIA Dean.<\/p>\n

 After serving again as the Dean of FIA UB, Prof. Bambang was determined to realize the work programs that he had conveyed on the campaign agenda of the previous candidates. Previously, during the campaign period, Prof. Bambang stated that the era of physical development was over, and the next focus would be on improving quality. "If elected as dean later, I will prioritize improving the quality of the implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education, namely education, research, and community service," said the Professor of Administrative Sciences when conveying his vision and mission to the FIA UB academic community.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
