After two years of construction, finally the new building of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya (FIA UB) was officially used, Sunday (18\/12). The inauguration of the building named \u201cE Building\u201d was carried out by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education Prof. Ainun Na'im PhD with the Chancellor of Brawijaya University Prof. Dr. Ir Mohammad Bisri MS and also the Dean of FIA UB Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono MS. In the event which was also the day of the vice chancellor and dean at Universitas Brawijaya, the inauguration was marked by the beating of the gong and the signing of the inscription by the three leaders. <\/p>\n

In his report, the Dean Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono MS said that most of the construction of this building would later be used for academic and student activities. The Dean explained that this building had been prepared to accommodate a representative canteen, a bank, and rooms for guests and lecturers on the first floor. Meanwhile, floors 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be used for lecture halls. "We also prepared the 6th and 7th floors specifically for six laboratories and seven study centers that have been standing in FIA UB," added the Dean. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Secretary General of Kemenristekdikti Prof. Ainun Na'im PhD expressed his happiness to FIA UB for the completion of the construction of this new building. Secretary General hopes that with this new building, academic activities at FIA UB will be more lively. \u201cI used to love reading journals Administrative Science Quarterly<\/em>. I hope that with this new building facility, the academic community of FIA UB can produce the best works as those in the reputable journal," said the Secretary General. <\/p>\n
