Corina Daba-Buzoianu is associate professor in the Public Relations Department, where she teaches\u00a0Imagology, Image analysis, Image crisis\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Online crisis communication.\u00a0<\/em>Corina Daba-Buzoianu has a PhD in the epistemology of image and postdoctoral studies in qualitative research in communication. Her research focus includes image studies and social representations, identity-alterity relationship, crisis communication and qualitative research in communication. Starting with 2012, Corina Daba-Buzoianu is member in the Identity and Image Lab. She is currently, involved in several international research projects and in a national research project on ageing and technology. Since 2013, Corina Daba-Buzoianu is involved in organizing\u00a0Qualitative Research in Communication\u00a0<\/em>international conference. Since 2012, she is also coordinating the Erasmus+ program in the College of Communication and Public Relations.<\/p>\n

Dr. Silverio D.C. Ramon is currently Dean of College of Business and Management, Tarlac Agricultural University, The Philippines.<\/p>\n

Surasak Jotaworn received the Doctoral degree at the Department of Urban Environmental Management (UEM), Asian Institute of Technology. Surasak does research mostly in Social Science field with an interest topic such as Policy Transfer, Behavior Science, Recreation and Leisure Management, Non-governmental organization, and environmental management.<\/p>\n

Dr. Eryadi K. Masli believes in the nexus of research, teaching and industry. He is an active researcher. His research is multi-disciplinary, and his current research interests include financing new ventures, frugal innovation, financial inclusion and corporate sustainability assessments. He has published in top-tier academic journals, such as\u00a0Journal of Cleaner Production, Multinational Business Review, Environmental Impact Assessment Review<\/em>, etc. He co-authored 3 books (published by Routledge), include\u00a0Frugal Innovation and the New Product Development Process: Insights from Indonesia<\/em>. Eryadi has completed a project, working with partners in six countries, exploring IIAs (integrated impact assessments) within ASEAN. The project was funded by AusAID\u2019s Public Sector Linkages Program Grant (for over $1.1 million). Currently, he is supervising 10 PhD students, and 3 have completed their doctoral study in the past 3 years.<\/p>\n

My vision of teaching is to build trust with the students that we gathered in class with the same goal, to make contribution for the people and the planet for the upcoming generations. Therefore, I want students to see me as their partner for collaboration, and more importantly, as a friend. I found that students\u2019 attention and focus in-class increase the more they see us as their friend, hence the need to build trust with students. In achieving so, I do not mind spending an extra 30 minutes (sometimes out of my paycheck) with the students if this can help them uncover their potentials and enable them to contribute and be more functional to the society. My class is designed to be full of engagement and a safe place for discussion based on respect to each other. I employed various case studies and scenarios for in-class activities to stimulate discussion (my favorite is the wolf and the tribe). These activities were mostly designed by myself by taking references from various sources such as peer-reviewed articles, team-building magazines to influential video game sources played by millions of people globally such as Skyrim and World of Warcraft.<\/p>\n

Fadillah Putra is a public policy scientist in Indonesia. He completed his doctoral education at the University of Melbourne in 2017. Previously, he underwent a master’s program in Local Government and Economic Development at the LBJ School of Public Affairs The University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with a Ford Foundation International Fellowship Program (IFP) scholarship. Currently, he is Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation at School of Graduate Studies, Universitas Brawijaya. In 2012, together with Slamet Thohari and his colleagues, he founded the Center for Disability Studies and Services at Universitas Brawijaya to provide access to higher education for people with disabilities.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
