Poverty Alleviation Programs In Solok City West Sumatera Indonesia

The strategy and grouping of poverty alleviatrion programs in Indonesia show tht poverty reduction is cross sectoral and cross stakeholder. Therefore, the effectiveness of poverty reduction will be significantly influenced by the quality of coordiantion in planning and implementing policies and programs. In support of local government institusions. The national government has formed poverty reduction team at the provincial and district levels, the Poverty Reduction Team (TKPK), chaired by the Deputy Head of each district (Deputy Regent or Deputy Mayor). This research studies the current conditions and challenges of the role of the Poverty Reduction Coordination Team (TKPK) in implementing poverty alleviation programs in Solok City. The findings of this study indicate the role of TKPK is still constrained in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluations stages of poverty reduction programs.
