The Psychology Of Entrepreneurship
The purpose of this book is to inspire and guide the search for undestanding the psychology of entrepeneurship. Entrepeneurship is essential for international social and economic well-being because new ventures are the dominant source of job creation, market innovation and economic growth in many societie at this time (Aldrich, 1999; Kirchoff, 1997). Those of us who are interested in entrepeneurship research have much work to do because the psychological factors and relationships that play a role in successful entrepeneurship are not clear. In pursuit if answers to these fundamental research questions, the authors of chapters in The Psychology of Entrepeneurship review existing entrepeneurship research and point to the accumulated., and limited, conclusionsabout the cause of succesful entrepeneurship. Most importantly, each author identifies research opportunities to guide future research.
